Why Omega-3s? 🐠
My humans did their research before introducing these, which I appreciate. For a large breed German Shepherd like me, joint support is particularly important. I have a lot of running around to do and I intend to keep doing it for a very long time.
First Impressions 👃
I was handed what looked like a treat. A soft, chewable, salmon-flavored bite. I was immediately suspicious — healthy things are rarely this appealing — but I ate it anyway because I’m not one to turn down a soft chew.
It was genuinely good. Salmon flavor, soft texture, no chalky aftertaste that sometimes comes with supplements. Scout wandered over looking interested. I finished it before he got close. Supplements are not for sharing.
After A Few Weeks 📅
My humans noticed my coat looking shinier and softer after a few weeks of consistent use. I noticed this too, mostly because I caught my reflection in the back door and thought “wow.” My shedding also seemed more manageable, which my humans were very enthusiastic about for some reason. I don’t fully understand why humans care so much about fur on the furniture, but I support anything that makes them happy.
My joints felt good too. I’m in my prime, so I can’t fully compare, but my movement stayed fluid and comfortable throughout, and I’m told that’s exactly what the EPA and DHA are working on behind the scenes.
